Our social action

Fifteen years ago, Christophe Lambert (journalist, photographer and author) launched the idea to start a project in India. Ever since, Excelease helps him to achieve his goals. We cooperate in every action he undertakes.

The first years, Excelease spread greeting cards with the protection of the rights of children as theme. In 1999 publisher Lannoo publishes Lambert's first book: “India, a look in the mirror”. The following year, Excelease supported the organization with a benefit concert with musician-composer Dirk Brossé in Bijloke' in Ghent. Lamberts' activities led to the foundation of the organization “Mensch Trust”, the purchase of 7 acres of land in Tamil Nadu in the south of India, and the construction of children's home Saint-Paul.

Thanks to this publishing of his third book “Travels in Asia” in May 2005, and with the support of Excelease, Mensh Trust started the construction of the Saint-Paul hospital – which has opened in March 2008.

Without durable relations, based on friendship and solidarity, a project like this has no chance to succeed in third world countries. After fifteen years of close cooperation, the results prove that Excelease and Christophe Lambert share the same vision on development projects.
